The Serve IT Mission
Serve IT’s mission is to apply the technology skills of undergraduate students in order to build capacity in the local nonprofit community to better serve their own missions.
The Serve IT Nonprofit Clinic is housed in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, and is a joint project with the Kelley School of Business and the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University Bloomington.
We provide internship credits to students who want to work together use their skills to make our local community a better place.
How Internships Work
We want to get to know our future interns. Fill out our easy online application with team preferences and any prior experience or skills.
Once accepted, interns can enroll in their correct course number (INFO-I391/I491, CSCI-Y390, SPEA-V381/V585) for the upcoming semester.
Interns will be contacted at the beginning of the semester with more information about orientation and their team to get started.
Serve IT has given me the opportunity to develop my professional, client-facing skills in a low-risk and encouraging learning environment with the added benefit of making a difference within the Bloomington community.
